PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE GOING FOR NEWLY ESTABLISHED INFRASTRUCTURE TESTING IN LATVIA AND LITHUANIA Several nature resting areas in Latvia and Lithuania are now available for people with disabilities. Reconstruction works are completed within project "Green Routes without obstacles" (LLB-2-257) of ENPI CBC programme Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus in Rāzna National Park (Latvia) and Gražute Regional Park (Lithuania).
Piloru Oak Park resting area by Ežezers Lake is now equipped with wooden deck suitable for wheelchairs, as well as campfire place, boating pier and toilet. Resting area at Gražute Regional Park has been also adopted for disabled people by constructing boating pier, outdoor class, campfire place and toilet facility.
On 14th-17th of October the newly created infrastructure testing trips will be carried out in order to assess the infrastructure availability. People with disabilities will visit reconstructed sites and assess to what extent project has managed to realize intended ideas, how convenient and accessible every specific site is.
