On 18th -19th of August 2012 the festival of medieval culture will be held on the Castle Hill in Braslav (Belarus).
The festival will feature master classes and exhibitions of craftsmen within the EU project "Culture heritage preservation and promotion in Rēzekne and Braslav regions" (LLB-1-102 "History Footprint"), which is being implemented within the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-border Cooperation Programme.
The craftsmen, dance group "Vadži" and theatre-studio "Yorik" from Rēzekne as well as Belarusian collectives "Severniy Veprj", "Vargentorn", "Naglfar", "Kvetunj" and "Vitland" will take part in the event.
The visitors will be able to explore different techniques of weaving, flax processing, spinning on the shaft, pottery and birch bark products.
