PROBLEM: Joined by rich common history and cultural traditions, the border regions of Zarasai (Lithuania), Daugavpils (Latvia) and Braslav (Belarus) are facing the difficulty of successful integration into the EU cultural-economic space due to their peripheral location and high level of youth emigration. Ensuring new quality of cultural relations should contribute to enhancing cultural attraction of the border regions and facilitating the intercultural dialogue.
OBJECTIVES: The overall objective of the project was enhancement of socio-cultural networking between border regions of Zarasai (Lithuania), Daugavpils (Daugavpils) and Braslav (Belarus) through development of human resources abilities in the culture sector, consolidation of creative youth and promotion of traditional culture values in the society.
The project encouraged development of cooperation, creativeness and artistic self-expression among young people of the cross-border regions by organising 4 artistic camps with involvement of qualified teachers (choreographers, ethnographers etc.).
12 spectacular concerts and performances were staged during artistic camps in all project countries.
Experience sharing seminars and work group meetings of culture professionals strengthened the capacities of cultural staff and started new long-term culture cooperation relations on the level of the regions and small communities.

The project was the core partner of the Programme in holding the Cooperation Rally, designated for the European Cooperation Day 2012 in Zarasai: LINK.
The project was represented in the short-movie competition "Be part of it" of the Programme, designated for the European Cooperation Day 2013: WATCH FILM "GAME OVER".
The project took part in the making of the COOPERATION REMIX of the ANTHEM OF EUROPE during the celebration of the European Cooperation Day 2014: ENJOY THE CLIP.
